Children's Faith Formation Pre-K 4 years to 6th grade

Classes meet on:

Sunday from 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. (Pre-K 4 years- 6th grade).

Sunday 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Pre-K 4 years-6th grade).

Wednesday 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (Pre-K 4 years-6th grade).
Two consecutive years of faith formation through our Wednesday or Sunday Faith Formation program or St. Joseph Catholic School is required for preparation for the Sacraments of Penance and Eucharist.

We use books approved by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Volunteers from the parish serve as catechist and catechist aides. If you would like to volunteer as a catechist or aide, please contact Maria Vazquez (mvazquez@sjfay.com) or Nicole Bork (nbork@sjfay.com).

Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC)
RCIC prepares children over the age of reason (seven years of age), who have not been baptized or children baptized in another denomination and wish to become Catholic for the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism (if not baptized), Confirmation, and Eucharist.
