If you are not yet members of any church, this is the perfect moment to register at the church you attend or will attend regularly, and become part of the vibrant Parish Life. ​If St. Joseph will be your parish, please stop by the office to fill out a registration form.

​GODPARENT REQUIREMENTS: Godparents must be at least sixteen-years-old, have received all of the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation,) and be in good standing. Good standing means a person attends Mass regularly, observes the precepts of the Church; if married, is married in the Church, if single, must be living according to the teachings of the Catholic Church. A person may have one or two Godparents. If two are chosen, they must be one male and one female (CCL 873).A baptized person who belongs to another Christian community, may be admitted, provided that there is at least a Catholic Godparent, and only as a "Christian witness" (CCL 874.2)​​

Si aún no son miembros de ninguna iglesia, este es el momento perfecto para registrarse en la iglesia a la que asisten o asistirán regularmente, y formar parte de la vibrante Vida Parroquial. Si desean registrarse en San José, los invitamos a pasar por la oficina para completar un formulario de registro.

REQUISITOS DE LOS PADRINOS: Los padrinos deben tener al menos dieciséis años, haber recibido todos los sacramentos de iniciación (Bautismo, Primera Comunión y Confirmación) y vivir una vida congruente con la fe y con la misión que va a asumir. Vivir de forma congruente con su fe significa que la persona asiste regularmente a Misa, observa los preceptos de la Santa Madre Iglesia; si está casada, está casada en la Iglesia, si está soltera, debe vivir según las enseñanzas de la Iglesia Católica. Una persona puede tener un padrino/madrina o un padrino y una madrina. Si los papás escogen 2 padrinos, tienen que ser un hombre y una mujer ( CDC 873). Una persona bautizada que pertenezca a otra comunidad cristiana puede ser admitida, siempre que haya al menos un padrino católico, y solo como "testigo cristiano" (CDC 874.2).
