Adult Faith Formation

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

Contact: Carrie Montemayor at

Are you an adult and not baptized or not Catholic and want to know more about the basic beliefs of the Catholic Church?  Do you want to become Catholic?  Are you a baptized Catholic and needing the sacraments of Confirmation and/or Eucharist?

Start the process now to inquire into the Catholic faith or receive your sacraments by scheduling an initial interview with Carrie Montemayor, Coordinator of Adult Faith Formation, or 479-442-0890 x244.  Starting the process does not require a commitment to become Catholic. It just opens the door.

The current RCIA session runs from September 2018 through Easter 2019 and meets weekly. The Tuesday sessions are held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The Friday afternoon sessions are from 1:30-3:00 p.m. Childcare is available upon request.

Darlene Martucci David Lauderdale

Catholic evangelist Sherry Weddell, M.A. and Fr. Michael Sweeney O.P. have spent many years researching and working with thousands of Catholics all over the world to begin the process of discerning the charisms each of us have been given by God at their Baptism and Confirmation. They have put together a two part program that is easy to follow, to help Parishes of all sizes begin the discernment process. Their mission is to help equip Parishes to form Lay Apostles.

We invite you to join us for the Called and Gifted Class. Come, let the Holy Spirit enter your heart and set you on fire with the gifts God has given you to build up his Kingdom on earth.

Coming Spring of 2019: Lectio- Philippians: Life in Christ

"St. Paul's Letter to the Philippians may be short, but it packs a powerful punch. Many may already be familiar with its popular verses such as "Rejoice in the Lord always" (Philippians 4:4) and "I can do all things in him who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). But other treasures of this epistle include the model it provides for working together in partnership to advance the Gospel, the beautiful relationship of mutual love that unites Paul and the church in Philippi, and Paul's great hymn to Christ in Philippians 2:6-11." If you are already a FORMED user, go here to view the videos.
