Knights of Columbus

Meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in room 301.

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, Family, Fraternal, Service organization founded in 1882 by Father Michael J McGivney at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven Connecticut. St. Joseph’s Council of the Knights of Columbus is The Father McCauley Council or Council 6609. Council 6609 was founded in 1974 and has been serving the parish of St. Joseph’s faithfully since then.

To be a member of the Knights of Columbus you must be a Catholic male eighteen years or older.

Columbian Squires

Meets on the 4th Saturday of the month at 6:00 p.m.

Founded on August 4, 1925 with the institution of Duluth Circle 1 in Duluth, Minn., the Columbian Squires program strives to provide "the spiritual, cultural, civic, social and physical improvement of its members, and the development of their leadership qualities," (section II, Article II of the Laws and Rules of the Columbian Squires).

The Squires is an international fraternity of approximately 25,000 Catholic young men, ages 10 to 18, in over 1,500 circles worldwide. Circles exist, or have existed, throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Panama, Cuba, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and on U.S. military bases abroad.

The Squires involves young men in programs to benefit the Church, the community, as well as in recreational and social activities.

Our local Knights of Columbus council Father McCauley Council or Council 6609 sponsors our Columbian Squire circles.

Men's Night

A night for the men to help raise money for St. Joseph School. Evening includes steak dinner, cigars, top-shelf bar, auction, live music entertainment and a great time for camaraderie .
