Organist and Director of Music
The Gregorian Schola was founded by Br. Christian Guertin, F.F.S.C. in 1993 as a study group dedicated to the study and performance of traditional Gregorian Chant. This group regularly sings at the Saturday 5:00 p.m. Mass and is directed by Dr. Richard Lee. On a typical Saturday they sing Gregorian Chants specifically proper for the day: the Introit, Gradual, Alleluia, Offertory, and Communion. The Mass settings (Gloria, Sanctus, Agnus Dei) are also always in Latin. They also sing traditional organ-based hymnody. They generally practice on Tuesdays evenings at 7 p.m. at the Church.
If you have any questions please contact Richard Lee at or Beau Baldwin at New members are always welcome! Please also see the Detailed Choir Information page for more details.
St. Joseph Traditional Choir
The St. Joseph Traditional Choir sings every Sunday at the 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning Mass. We welcome new members at all times. They rehearse at 7 p.m. in the Chapel Center on Wednesday evenings during the fall/spring academic year. During the summer there are no rehearsals and the choir comes on Sundays.

St. Joseph Cantors
The Cantors at St. Joseph help lead the hymns and Responsorial Psalms at the 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. weekend Masses. Being a cantor is a fulfilling and important job. Because of the more demanding nature of being a cantor, please contact the Director of Music, Beau Baldwin at , if you are interested. The D of M will fill you in on the specific rehearsal requirements and meet with you.
St. Joseph Folk Group
